GLOWS! This is a vintage Vaseline glass hobnail barber bottle, likely produced by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. or Fenton. Color & Material: The bottle is made from Vaseline glass (also known as uranium glass), which is a pale yellowish-green color and famously glows under ultraviolet light. Design Details: It features a distinct hobnail pattern, characterized by raised, rounded points on the surface, which was a popular design in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. There are several chipped hobnails all over the bottle. You can feel them more than you can see them. I tried to capture images in the later photos. Most of the points around the base are chipped off.
