This bird here looks straight ahead but they also made one that looks backwards. Tried to show the top and side view but it is pretty small. It is marked underneath with the under glazed blue crossed swords mark (1st choice) as well as the usual impressed / incised numbers, etc. as well as a painter's number as shown.
