This is a vintage 1985 Blenko Art Glass handled basket in green, designed by Don Shepherd. The piece is hand-blown glass, a signature technique of the Blenko Glass Company, which is known for its vibrant colors and craftsmanship. This has a unique basket shape, just in time for Easter, with a wide ruffled rim and an arched handle. The color green is a beautiful bright color m, but leans a little to the blueish turquoise (pictured). There are a few bubbles in the piece (pictured), but no chips/cracks. Really beautiful piece.
