A mid-20th-century vintage Poole Pottery collector pin/trinket dish, featuring the iconic Guildford Cathedral which was built between 1936-1961. Crafted in the United Kingdom between 1952-1955, this decorative piece embodies the craftsmanship of the era, commemorating this well known cathedral Approximately 6.5inches/16 cm wide 6.5inches/16cm long 1 inch/2.5cm deep. Printed Poole Pottery backstamp verifying its authenticity, 1952-1955 (see last photo of an extract from a page identifying the manufacturing period). There is some hairline crazing to the glaze on both front and back of the dish, reflective of its age, which can be seen in the photos. Suitable for display as a commemorative item with this unusual subject matter, this is an elegant ceramic piece.
