Vintage 1950s - 1970s blue and white 11" (28cm) dinner plate, from the "Lochs of Scotland" collection, manufactured by Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd in Staffordshire, England. The central scene on this plate depicts a Scottish castle, mountains and a sailboat, framed by an intricate floral and lattice border. The plate is made from ironstone ceramic and decorated using hand-engraved transferware techniques with underglaze colours that are detergent and acid resistant. The plate is in excellent, as new condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing (please see photos).
