Vintage 1940s Royal Worcester hand painted Thimble with a Bird Signed J.Allen

It is signed J.Allen. It has a Puce mark. The date code is not very clear ,just 7dots are visible below the mark. There should be three interlocking circles between the dots. This dates it to either 1939, 1940 or 1941.
