A gorgeous Bauer No. 8 underplate in Chartreuse, to be used under a No. 8 flower pot or jardiniere. This is a large piece at nearly 10" diameter x just over an inch high. This vintage underplate is in Very Good condition for its age and shows minimal wear and a few scattered marks. There are no chips or cracks. There is glaze crazing, so please scrutinize the photos. It was difficult to capture the crazing lines with the camera, and they are not easy to see unless you inspect closely in person. The craze lines are in radiating circles on the saucer side, and are more abstract on the bottom, but again they are not easily noticed. The finish is glossy and the color is uniform and saturated.
