The Moss wall pocket's back is incised Roseville 1279. Roseville wall pockets are among the most popular and valuable of its many shapes. The Moss pattern was introduced in 1936. It depicts an embossed Spanish Moss hanging in clusters in vertical lines from brown branches with green leaves.
