So here's the deal: we cleaned out grandma and grandpa's house. And in a closet in the back bedroom behind a box was another box and in that box was a small box and in THAT box (seriously) was THIS Meissen trumpet vase. My grandma was really into porcelain so it doesn't surprise me that we found this, but I have no need for any of the stuff in her closet. Based on the mark, this piece was produced somewhere between 1815 and 1924. I'm going to guess it's turn of the century. It's so pretty. In excellent condition, considering it's so darn old.
