Unique ceramic plate made by Faiencerie de Varages in France. Varages was a center of faïence pottery in the 19th century. This is a colorful , Hand painted plate. The drawing is puerile and rustic like someone was playing while painting. The scene depicts the sun shine over a green hill with birds flying. The plate is used however itbis in good clean condition. No chipping or cracks. The glaze is shiny and no signs of crazing. Please see photos for dimensions.
