A vintage decorative Vallauris pottery octopus wall hanging, finished with a vibrant multicoloured glaze. The piece has the maker’s mark impressed to the reverse and measures approximately 17 x 16cm. I believe it dates to around the 1960s/1970s. Overall, it is in good vintage condition. There is a very small spot to the top of the head, approximately 1–2mm, where the glaze has either not taken fully or there may be an old tiny glaze chip — I’m not certain which. It has a clear ring/“ting” when lightly tapped, so appears to be structurally sound. Thanks for looking!
