An unusual Italian pottery vase/jug in a gourd shape and hand painted using bold colours and brush strokes. It is approximately 3.75in diameter at the widest 4.5in tall and marked 'Italy 4727' on the base. There are some very tiny 'nibbles' to the underside of the spout which are barely noticeable to the naked eye - the white specks on the one side look like surface wear, but are under the glaze. Overall, this is in very good condition for it's age. Thank you for looking
