This unique Moroccan ceramic lidded urn or jar, featuring Moorish style hand-painted geometric patterns in a beautiful green, yellow, and black design inspired by Hispano-Moresque art, this piece features a geometric lattice pattern on the main body. Possibly from Fez. Made with intricate metal filigree work, overlaid on the ceramic body. The lid is adorned with a finial, set with a dark green cabochon stone. Amazing handcraftsmanship and great precision. This piece is signed. Measures: Approximately 10" high, and 4” wide. The beauty of Moroccan pottery is that it's made entirely by hand and can include many imperfections which do not detract from its value but add to its charm.
