Presents as well made studio pottery, but markings on bottom look like a school project. Signed - P Hall. It's fabulous. There are holes for 4 stems. (I would suggest dried herbs, pussy willows or cat tails.) Could also be used as a pen/pencil holder. Glazed on interior as well as exterior, but not on the bottom. Only issue I have found besides a couple of small glaze skips on the sides is that the thrift store wrote with sharpie on the bottom that I can not remove unless I sand it down. Not going to ruin the integrity of the piece...it's too good. Quite a catch!!! No chips, cracks or repairs. Weight is 13.5 oz. Measurements : 6"L x 3.5"W x 3.75"H.
