Slow and steady wins the race in this depiction of one of the most beloved of Aesop's Fables. This relief tile is hand pressed in stoneware and glazed to emphasize its sculptural dimension. Tile measures roughly 4 inches high by 6 inches wide and is thinner than most of my tiles, about 3/8 of an inch thick at the edges. It is notched on the back so it can hang on a nail.
