Lovely ornament which I believe is at least 60 years old. I would describe its condition as excellent. On inspection I cannot find any damage on it eg no chips out of vulnerable edges etc. There is a little "micro fissuring" of the glaze in parts (eg the lady's shoulders) but the glaze remains totally smooth. This ageing(?) effect is very slight and only visible on close inspection. I believe (but no expert) that this is likely to be an early example of this item. Please rest assured that my description is reliable and honest : this is a lovely undamaged example of this genuine and charming piece.
