Rare The Dreadnought, Royal Vistas Ware, Ridgeways, Edwardian Wall Plate , 10" diameter This plate was made to commemorate The Royal Navy's Dreadnought war ship. HMS Dreadnought was a Royal Navy battleship, the design of which revolutionised naval power. The ship's entry into service in 1906 represented such an advance in naval technology that her name came to be associated with an entire generation of battleships, the dreadnoughts, as well as the class of ships named after her. The Royal Vistas Ware series was created on a gold to brown pottery with brown ransfers. It was made in the 1890’s to the 1910’s Very Good condition , has crazing but is common for this ware, see pictures for condition.
