A superb example of the Handcraft Carltonware design by Violet Elmer , one of their top designers, c 1930’s, using bold and colourful artwork to create an abstract apple blossom tree. This Hanging Wall charger is a great addition to an art deco collection in beautiful matte finish and colours. Excellent condition just a few tiny scuffs on the gilt edge, a couple of patches near rim in black matte with slightly missing glaze finish and some slight typical age crazing especially on the front surface but please see all photos as part of the full condition report before purchase and ask any questions.
