A gorgeous 1960s Murano hand blown sommerso glass ashtray. In the manner of Flavio Poli for Seguso, there is every possibility that this is a genuine work of Flavio, though I am not an expert on Murano wares so I shall leave the attribution to the experts! It is certainly c.1960-69 Murano. Exquisite delicate colouration, a rich tobacco yellow fading into blue towards the rim. 13cm x 13cm x 6cm. Rounded base, square form with rounded corners and gently curving to the sides. Very fine condition with a single tiny nibble to the rim (see photos), reflected in price, otherwise perfect.
