A beautiful hand-thrown studio pottery vase with a rich multi-tonal glaze in the raku tradition. The surface displays wonderful depth — deep mahogany brown and ochre gold tones with flashes of purple iridescence and dark pooling, created through reduction firing techniques. The unglazed base shows the coarse stoneware clay body beneath. No maker’s mark visible. Unsigned.
