This is a gorgeous vintage part china part glass collector plate. It is entitled "Springtime in the Valley" from the Stained Glass Gardens Plate Collection by The Hamilton Collection. This plate is number 0109UK from a limited edition of 15,000. It is fully marked on the reverse. The plate is china, eith a circular central inset of glass in a gilt metal mount. The design covers the glass, giving the appearance of stained glass, and continues over part of the china. In very good condition with no chips or cracks. On the reverse there is some discolouration if the adhesive securing the insert to the frame, but this is not visible from the front. Measures approx 7.6" in diameter.
