Staffordshire transferware child's 7.5 inch plate from approximately 1825–1850, featuring a central illustration and text from "Dr. Franklin's Maxims" Collectable but showing some of the problems of its age such as crazing and staining. Also a fine crack as shown in the photos. However the plate is solid feeling. The price reflects the tests of time.
