Stunning vintage art pottery ceramic tile wall plaque titled "Tito", signed on the back by artist Jose E. Chirinos and dated 1973. The hand-crafted ceramic tile features a raised relief depiction of a draped robed figure cradling another figure — rendered in rich warm copper-orange underglazes against a dramatic speckled black glaze background. The raised sculptural relief work shows considerable skill and artistry. Mounted on a rustic reclaimed barn wood board with a decorative round drilled hole in the upper left corner. Sawtooth hanger on reverse. Approximately 7" tall. A beautifully executed signed and dated piece of mid-century studio pottery art. Condition: Good vintage — wear consistent with age. Tile appears intact with no chips or cracks noted
