Royal Worcester antique pair of candlestick figurines depicting a boy and a girl seated on a rock and resting against a tree trunk. Both are shape no. 1175 and Rd No. 60364. Boy and girl are decorated in pastel shade of apricot with gilt edgings and detail. Both pieces are signed Hadley for their modeller, the renowned James Hadley. The boy is dated to 1889 and is in top age-related condition; no damage, just some light rubbing to the gilding on the rim of the sconce as might be expected on a piece this old. The girl dates to 1894 and is in very good condition with no flaws that I can see. Height is approx 22.5cm or 9". Please have a look at the photos to appreciate the quality of both pieces.
