Royal Worcester antique figurine in shot enamel finish called The Woodsman, shape number 1774. Originally designed and modelled by James Hadley and introduced in the late 19th Century, it depicts a rustic man standing by a tree stump, holding an axe and carrying a log on his shoulder and stands approx 17.5cm or 7" high. Dated to 1891. The figurine is in overall very good condition, there is a small area of restoration under the brim of his hat, not easily noticable at first glance; please have a look at the photos to judge for yourself.
