This figurine from Royal Worcester was commissioned by Compton & Woodhouse in a series promoting the work of the NSPCC. It was a limited edition of 7,500 and this one is number 1,569, designed and hand sculpted by Maureen Hanson. It is called 'A Posy for Mother' and depicts a young girl in a pale blue dress, shawl and hat trimmed with purple, a white apron with pink trim and a posy of pink flowers. She is 7 inches (17.8cm) tall. In excellent condition.
