Royal Worcester antique pair of Farmworker figurines modelled by James Hadley and finished in shot enamel. The male figure is depicted sharpening a scythe, his shape is 1292 and the piece bears a green RW backstamp. The woman is carrying a nest or basket of eggs and looking skywards, she is shape 1293 and bears an uncommon puce backstamp. Both figures are in very good condition with no detectable chips or cracks, the colours are vivid and the gilding is good on both. This is a rare and sought-after pair of collectable figurines in fabulous shape.
