A classic Royal Worcester figurine that was produced in a variety of colours from 1935 until 1985, Modelled by Freda Doughty this figure along with grandmother's dress is said to have saved the Worcester factory in an era when it was struggling to survive. The colour of this version of 'The Parakeet' is allegedly yellow with gold highlights with a matt finish although it seems more towards green.
