Royal Doulton. " This Little Pig".HN1793. Circa 1930-93. Bone China.103x77x75 mm approx.This Boy child is wrapped in a multi Orangey-Red Blanket that has blue flowered pattern on it. The embossed number on the base is difficult to read. ( see photo). Ther is a saying which Mothers said to their children when touching their child's toes.This little piggy went to market,This little piggy stayed at home.This little piggy had roast beef.This little piggy had none.But this little piggy went weeeeeeee all the way home! There is a tiny scratch low down on the left hand side of the Blanket. It does not take away anything from this lovely piece. It is fully marked on the base- see photo.Apart from the scratch it is in excellent condition.It weighs127 grams.It does nt have it's box.
