A Royal Doulton "Countryside" series plate. On the back is the Royal Doulton makers backstamp, and possibly the underglaze number D30 (?). which would suggest it was produced around 1957. The seriesware, introduced by Charles Noke, features a variety of imagery applied to standard ceramic shapes like plates.
