This is a Royal Doulton figurine M89 called 'Oliver Twist. It was modelled by Leslie Harradine, one of Royal Doulton's leading sculptors and produced from 1949 until 1983. It forms part of the 'Dickens Series 1" set of characters from literature. It is the classic pose of Oliver with bowl outstretched asking for 'More'. Stands just 4 1/4 inches tall (10.8cm).
