A Royal Doulton Figurine this is HN2420 'The Shepherdess' commissioned by Lawleys for their mail order business and modelled by John Bromley, who was more know for his work for Coalport, but who also freelanced. He was prolific during his life and became world renowned, sadly passing away in 2013. This figurine has a very fragile part which is the shepherd's crook which in many cases is either broken, repaired or missing entirely. This one is compete and with careful packing, will arrive at her new owners in perfect condition. It is a limited edition of 12,500 and this one is numbered 371 one the base. She is 9 inches (22.9cm) tall wearing peach, blue and white, holding a lamb with other at her feet.
