A really early figurine from Royal Doulton called 'The Cobbler', modelled by the master Charles Noke (1858-1941), who joined RD in 1889 and is considered to be the driving force behind them over the coming decades, launching the HN series in 1913. This figurine stands 8 1/4 inches tall (21cm) in green & brown. It was released in 1935 and was retired in 1969. This piece is in perfect condition having spent it's life in a display cabinet.
