Royal Doulton rare early vintage figurine Captain MacHeath HN590 was designed by Leslie Harradine and issued from 1924 to 1949 as part of the Beggar's Opera series. It depicts Capt MacHeath, a chivalrous fictional highwayman dressed in a scarlet red coat and gray and black stockings. Standing approx 7" or 17.8cm high, the figurine is in very good age-related condition, displaying the light crazing common on the early figurines. This is not the more common HN464.
