Royal Doulton England bone china dinner plate, Robert Allen design RA 9960A, E-series, red border with gilt neoclassical columns, Edwardian period, circa 1905–1912.Piece measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter. It has a slightly notched rim, and a red and gilt decorative wide floral rim. The centre of the plate is bright white. The gilding depicts columns and pedestals containing flowers.Marked on the back, as shown, with the lion and the crown and says, "Royal Doulton, England" Also has the numbers signed "RA9960A" and "V459". Gold letter 'E' towards left on back.Excellent used vintage condition, no nicks, chips, or cracks. A couple of small, shallow 'scratches' - nothing significant and can only be seen when tilted in a certain light.
