This is a lovely set of Royal Doulton “Brambly Hedge” four seasons plates . Each plate depicts a small scene from one of Jill Barklem’s books, with the wonderfully painted characters , flowers, and on the reverse of each plate is a short quote from her stories. They measure 6 inches diameter. The plates were produced by Royal Doulton in 1983, and are in excellent condition, no chips, marks, etc, and are a delight to display
