Royal Doulton Cabinet Plate - Ptarmigan. It is painted with a winter scenic of Ptarmigan in a Highland setting with two birds settled on the ground and one standing. The ground is a lovely warm ivory tone highlighted by a gilt rim and border of dots, all the work is hand painted.
