The square maiolica cloisonné tile decorated in colours with the coat of arms of the city Amsterdam with the three Andreas Crosses, capital of the Netherlands, surrounded with a laurel wreath and AMSTERDAM on a gold coloured base. Marked on the back for: DE PORCELEYNE FLES - ROYAL DELFT DELFT – HOLLAND - Circa approximately the 1940’s Measures approximately 4.75” on each side. Overall in very nice condition. Has copper wire affixed the top for hanging. There is one very small chip on the top of the tile near the back. Not noticeable when hanging. There does not appear to be any hazing or crazing and the tile is free from cracks. Banana For Scale. Not included!
