This is a beautifully carved either ceramic or porcelain planter by Julius Dressler The carving depicts knights in battle with an onlooking king and a maiden on a horse on both sides. The ornate carvings framing the main scenes are accented with gold. The gold handles are depicted with 2 snake heads The planter has an oval shaped top and is approx 11” long x 6.5” wide and approx 5.5”tall One of the handles has broken in the past and was repaired.
