This is such a cheery tile/trivet by Alan Wallwork. I date it to the ‘60s or ‘70s featuring a bold flower design. The condition is very good for its age. There is crazing and minor chipping in a few places along the edge. The cork has pulled away some on the back. All adds to its charm! The colors of the flower are lovely—brown petals along the edge, moving inward to amber/caramel, then pale yellow, and finally, to avocado green/forest green at the center. There is a faint printed mark that reads: “Alan Wallwork Ceramics Made in England”.
