Presented for auction is this Superb Rare Vintage Wade 1950's First Issue Whimsies Set Six Boxed. Produced by Wade from 1956-1959 this complete boxed set of the first issue whimsies is entitled Polar Animals being the sixth set issued Set Six. It contains a Polar Bear Cub, King Penguin, Polar Bear, Baby Seal and a Husky dog all contained in their original cardboard box, superb quality items/craftsmanship. They are all in excellent used condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or restoration, just usual light wear consistent with age except for the Husky which has a chip to its left front paw as you look at it (see closeup photo No.8), please see all the additional photos as they form part of the item description.
