Beautiful piece of 1960s Murano Glass Somerso centerpiece bowl in icy aqua blue with a sleek satin finish. Though the piece has no markings, after checking with two independent appraisers the official conclusion is that is indeed a rare Murano piece. The silky matte finish is achieved by dipping the finished piece in an acid bath. This is not a sand blasted reproduction. It measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 3 1/2". It is very heavy for it's size, weighing 2 pounds 10 ounces. The form is billowy with fabric-like folds. Excellent condition.
