Rare Van Briggle Ming Blue Woman Holding Seashell Nude Figural Sculpture. The style of the incised mark on the bottom appears to be that of "Etcher H", dating the piece to the late 1930s or early 40s. It is also marked "L", so it was likely completed by finishing artist Lucille Larson who was known to finish pieces in the 1940s & 50s. Stands approximately 8" in height. Condition is good with no chips or cracks. There is some residue on the bottom where it appears it was once covered with felt to protect the surface it was displayed on.
