If you love the song "Allentown", by Billy Joel, then you need to add this very rare pottery mini-vase, toothpick holder to your collection. It was made at a pottery owned by L. H. Yeager, founded in 1875, in Allentown PA. It is in the form of a loving cup with three curved handles, a flared body and is decorated with yellow, green and brown patches, The interior and base are yellow. The base is stamped L. H. Yeager & Co. and 1875 over 1905. These numbers represent the year the company was founded and the year the piece was made. It is a little over 2 1/4" h and 2 1/4" w at the base. It is in excellent condition...no chips, cracks, crazing. This piece has sold at auction recently, but this one is in better condition.
