Vintage Quantock Design owl vase and Simonsbath owl figure. Stoneware vase decorated on both sides with owl moulded in relief. Matt glazed outside with gloss glazed interior.The owl figure was made at Simonsbath Pottery which was established by Rod Billingtonwho co-founded Quantock Design. Consequently the two potteries made very similar pieces.Both pieces in very good condition; no chips or cracks; no repairs. Vase impressed Quantock Design etc; owl Simonsbath Exmoor.
