This listing is for a pair of vintage porcelain mantel vases featuring Dutch scenes. The one vase features a Dutch man walking with two water jugs on his back smoking a pipe. The other is a Dutch woman carrying a basket of bread. In the background is water with a windmill on the shoreline. They have nice attention to detail and are decorated with pretty colors. They measure 12" high and are 6 1/2" at the widest and taper at the top to 5" across the handles. Marked on the bottom of one with an impressed OPAL. The man vase is in nice condition with the female vase having a tight hairline running down the rim about 3 inches long. They both have glaze crazing.
