Penguin Parents 6x6" Stoneware Art Tile by Gretchen Kramp

£47.16

Anyone who has seen the film March of the Penguins knows that both father and mother penguin play a big part in nurturing their young. Here a pair of emperor penguins watch over their egg, one keeping it safe and warm, balanced atop its feet and nestled under its belly. A warm moment on a snowy antarctic night, this will appeal to nature lovers and parents alike. This high-relief tile is hand pressed in stoneware and glazed to emphasize its sculptural dimension. Tile measures roughly 5 and 5/8 inches high by 5 and 5/8 inches wide and is about 5/8 of an inch thick at the edges to about an inch deep at its thickest point. It is notched on the back so it can hang on a nail.
