Both tiles are executed using the traditional sgraffito technique, where lines are hand-scratched through the glaze to reveal the red terracotta clay base beneath. Both pieces feature her incised interlocking 'CS' artist monogram on the front face, and are cast onto industrial 'Platt Ferrolite England' blanks.
