Here we have a pair of early Staffordshire antique Pearlware/Transfer Ware hand-coloured childrens nursery plates/bowls featuring the story of Robinson Crusoe dating from 1830-1849. Plate 1 features Robinson Crusoe with his "family at Dinner" consisiting of two cats a dog and a parrot. a whimsical scene that would have amused any child.
