This Otagiri Somayaki Soma Ware ashtray features a double wall construction on the bottom half. It has a green crackle glaze with gold tone band on the inside and outside rim. It has a gold tone figure of a galloping horse on one side and another image on the other side. (a flower possibly) It has cut out hearts around the bottom. It is unused, with a "made in Japan" sticker still on it. It has a makers mark on the bottom. (shown in close up picture)
